Alright dude, first of all do not take advise from any of the girls who aswered prior to me. No offense ladies, but you have no idea what getting raped does to the male psyche. I know what you are going through, dude, I spent my teenage years freaking out about my sexual orientation after I was molested by another by (I was 12 he was 16). Becuase you had this sexual encounter at such a young age, it has become the comparitive experience that you keep drawing back to now that you are becoming sexually aware. I on the other hand played had explorative encounters with girls my age (playing house or doctor when I was really young. Though they were not sexual encounters, there was a sense of taboo there. Thus I had the benefit on basing who I was attracted to off of those fun experiences, as oppossed to my one terrible experience. As a teenager I nearly drove me crazy worrying about weather what happened to me made me gay, but I was able to realize that everything about girls excites me. Their scent, their walk, their curves. I wonder if maybe you have not had a formative base on which to build (i.e. an encounter with a girl the same age.), if not then you need just an experience in which you are alowed to discover the wonders of the female body. Trust me just looking at it does not do it justice. I also wonder, if you had any feelings for girls prior to being raped. If you did then I would say that you are simply confused becuase of the trauma of being raped by a guy. But if you had feelings for boys prior to it, then you are gay and you are going to have to come to terms with who you are. As far as your parents go, they may be dissappointed, but you are still their child and they will love you know matter what you are. As for the Christianity aspect of it, you simply need to realize that all human beings sin willingly or unwillingly. Regardless of the sin, be it lying, sex before marrage, cheating on a spouse, or having homosexual sex, all is forgiven becuase Christ died for them. Now before anybody gets mad and tells me that being homosexual is not a sin, please realize that I am just giving the view point that this young man has been raised to believe. The point is every one is born with the little traits that can be viewed as sins, but according to Christian doctrine we are forgiven through Christ. By the way twenty years after being molested by a guy, I have been married to my lovely wife for ten years, and I have three children. So don't be so hard on yourself.

It sucks azz but there's no way that I can change myself now... and I bet that's how it's gonna be for you. I became a lesbien when I was 13 also so it's the normal age for you to realize that you're gay.. I think it's cool. Don't worry about having to like girls... cause you dont. I dont' really know if you can be made to "go straight". Maybe you really are gay. I don't think you should be ashamed of that, but I do think you should get some counseling for the rape issue. I wish you the best.
