I was going on a bus and this stupid guy behind me started pushing me, and because the steps are much higher than regular, i didn't lift my foot as high as i should have, and he gave one last huge push I fell onto the metal edge of the step.
It really hurt, I burst into tears, it swelled up and turned blue. After half an hour it had a lump and it was hard to step without a pinching feeling

The lower leg bones in the area of your shin are the tibia and the fibula. (The tibialis anterior is a muscle there.)
If either bone was broken clear through, you'd be complaining of much stronger pain when you put more weight on this leg (if you could even stand). You're complaining of pain that gets worse when you press the spot. That sounds more like a bruise. It is possible to bruise a bone with very hard contact as you had.
The only way to know for sure whether or not you have a fracture is to go see a doctor and get an x-ray. Since you're saying you don't want to do that, you can instead try these steps to treat a bone bruise:

Note what it says in Step 6 in the linked article: this can take months to resolve no matter what you do, if this is what you have.

Well, if you truly did crack something, there isn't much you can give it but time. A doc could give you something stronger for pain, but wouldn't without x-raying it first. My sis got a hairline fracture in her shin from running, and she was in a ton of pain from it. She had to keep weight off it (be on crutches) for at least a week, to allow it to heal (the pressure from bearing weight would have made it worse). It is probably most advisable TO see a doc, but if you can't, you can't. Other than meds and telling you to stay off it, there probably isn't much they can do. Try an anti inflammatory for pain, if you haven't already done so. Take 800mg of ibuprofen every 8 hours, around the clock. This will at least keep the swelling down (because there is still likely swelling to the area, even if you can't "see" it). Stay off it as much as humanly possible. If in a couple more days it's not much better, I'd go see your doc and rule out further injury. Best of luck.
