I recently bought a 1TB hard drive for my computer. There was another one there that had 500GB on it and the box said "Stores over 300 movies" so I figured 1TB can hold at leadt that much but I got home and set it up and it can only hold 75 hours of video. I feel that it isn't right. Does anyone know if this is acurate?

1tb is double 500gb.
It's going to be based on the hard drive space that each video uses, not the number of videos.
For Alan, it's not double 500 GB, it's double 512 GB, but anyways. It depends on the density of the videos, but I assure you, it can hold at least 200 HD movies.
