I think it will work exactly the other way and as soon as Iran have a nuclear deterrent the West will stop threatening to annihilate them. The Iranians might well save the world from WW3 by halting the US aggression before it starts threatening China and Russia.

It won't happen. The only countries that could possibility start a major war are Iran or North Korea.

North Korea has no allies, China, America and Europe are against them.

Iran has some allies, America and most of Europe are against them. China doesn't care.

China, America and the EU will not fight each other. America and the EU are quite close.

China makes most of it's profits from companies in the EU and America, if they are at war; their profits will dramatically decrease.
