Yeah, like you said. Go to Shenzheng first, and then take a train there from Wuhan. I'm sure there are trains that go from Shenzhen to Wuhan. You may have to connect somewhere though.

I have flown from Wuhan to Hong Kong.....but the train system in China is so sophisticated that I'm sure you'll have no problem.

honestly, if u have time, u may like to travel by train. either to shenzhen then train, or go guangzhou then train to wuhan. but personally, i dont mind to pay a bit more to take flight. its only one and a half hour to reach there. daily flight from CZ(china southern), depart hk at 11:50am.
