help? guy trouble?
situation: girl(me) and guy(mark) in french class. never see him otherwise, except studyhall 1ce a week. hes jewish, im christian. hes popular(er), im not. hes friends w/lots of girls, i have 1 or 2 guy friends. hes hot, im not so much. apparently, we're both shy. should i wait for him to make the first move, or should i do it? i'm not sure if he likes me or not, too. any comments would appreceiated.
also, i'm a hi-schl freshman, he is 2.

Well there is a chance that he might like you to but also he might not even know your alive. I would go for it if I were you because look at it this way: If you don't ask him out then you might not ever get a chance again, and even if he said no thats about the same as never asking him.(except that you get hurt) I think its worth a shot! Go ahead make the first move. i'm an average looking guy and I wish i'd have asked more girls out in highschool. If he turns you down you'll feel really bad for a while but trust me you'l get over it and then move on to your next conquest.

The best thing for you to do is to just strike up a casual conversation with him. I mean you both are shy so instead of you waiting for him to come around and talk just dive right in there and see what's up!!
get inside info. See if he like you. If he does, then wait, if he truly like you he will make a move. if not, you making a move has a fork in the road. He might make the second move or he might reject you. It's a choice only you can make.
If he's popular, you should make the first move. If you see him in study hall, maybe you could ask him if he needs any help.
I'd say make a move, flirting first would be best, but you also don't want him to be taken by one of his friends who are girls, so get one it, Monday!
ive been through the same thing and thers two things you can do:
1. tottally jump into it and ask him out.
or
2.get to know him so your not total strangers and you'll really know if he's boyfriend material.
