That is fine I went to get my blood work done when I was 8 days past ovulation and it was very low like 15 or something now it doubles so one reading is not enough to say weather it's a good or bad thing yet. One reading just confirms your preg. it's the other readings that show how well things are going if the levels are doubled then that's what they want to see. Don't worry your fine it's supposed to be low your only 3 weeks most women don't know until 4-6 weeks at which point the levels would be in the hundreds. My low HCG resulted in a healthy baby. But I have had chemical pregnancies where my HCG was so low that is was considered negative just a small trace was all they picked up enough to know at some point I was preg. but had miscarried. Also since I had a miscarriage I will tell you if it's gonna happen it will sucks but there is nothing that can be done any way. Your probably fine though.
I was told with my first pregnancy that my hCG levels were low and meant that I could easily miscarry and/or go into preterm labour. I ended up having a miscarriage just before I was 12 weeks, not due to any particular reason. Don't get scared of what happened to me though, lots of people have low hCG levels and they end up rising and have a healthy pregnancy and baby. I went on to have a healthy & normal pregnancy with my first son who's now 10 months old and am now almost 7 months pregnant with our second son. Don't stress yourself and take care of yourself and baby. Congrats! :)
