ok, another dumb question from me, little miss clueless!
has anyone on here with kids, NOT gotten morning sickness with a girl?
I had a little bit of morning sickness for 2 weeks back in september, and because it wasnt bad morning sickness, everyone is saying its a boy! Im very much hoping for a girl, but I would love a boy too!
I know that this is an old wives tale, im just wondering how accuate it is?
also, has anyone used that chinese gender predicor? how did that turn out for you?
thanks ladies :)

I'm 12 weeks preg, so I have no idea which I am having yet. But from the very moment I got pregnant (I felt it the very instant!) -- I just "knew" it was going to be a boy. The Chinese predictor says a boy too. I was only nauseated 2 mornings and I'm almost finished with my first trimester. I never did vomit! Just cold-sweat and nausea. But nothing since those two mornings in the beginning.
I just got my first ultrasound this week, but the baby's still too small to be able to tell. A few more months!
Good luck with getting what you want! =)
Although I lost my first two I never had any morning sickness and I always just knew they were girls, you just get that feeling ya know.
Now with this pregnancy, I knew from the minute I found out I was pregnant that it was going to be a boy and I've been quite a bit sicker. Can't wait till the ultra sound to see if I'm right.
I found your question interesting since I've never heard this old wives tale. BTW, the chinese gender predictor has always said the opposite of what my gut feeling has told me.
I'm having a boy, so I'm not much help with the first part, but the chinese gender predictor was the only thing right for me! All the quizzes with the old wives tales told me that I was going to have a girl...
I am having a girl and was sick for about 6 weeks in my first trimester. My Mother said her most miserable pregnancy was with my brother though. I don't think it is very reliable to predict this way.
I did do the Chinese gender predictor and is said a boy, and I have had three ultrasounds and each person said definitely a girl.
good luck and congrats!
Haha, I wanted a girl too. All throughout my first trimester I was horribly sick. I lost around 20 pounds. We found out we are having a boy on the 20th and are still just as excited. So I guess there is some "truth" to that old wives tale.
My friend is two months ahead of me and never got sick and is having a girl.
I will find out in two weeks the gender of ours but the chinese gender predictor says it's going to be a boy. I will be thrilled with a boy but I have always wanted a girl. So we'll see. It's oddly worked for everyone I know with kids so it makes me wonder if there is truth to it.
Congrats and keep us posted!
I am pregnant with a girl and was very sick.. however, i have 3 friends at work with girls and none of them were sick at all. everyone and every pregnancy is different and there's no way of telling by old tales and signs which you will have.
And by the way, all the ol'wives tales and chinese predicters all said to me i was most likely having a boy... just myths, you really can't go by those... just have to wait and see :-)
well i will tell you this is my first pregnancy and i am 17 weeks with twins girls i had The worst morning sickness from like 6 weeks till last week and the predictors all said boys for me but my two little girls were very open to show us they were girls so i think it is just a fun thing to try but dont rely on it
i had a girl and didn't have ANY morning sickness. also don't go by old wives tales.
I did!
