Two weeks ago I was at 14,000. Now I'm at 39,000. The doctor isn't sure how far along I am because my ultrasound was inconclusive. My questions is, do these numbers sound normal? Just by looking at the calculations, they're not doubling like they are supposed to. Has this happened to you? Did everything turn out ok? I know hCG levels are only so trustworthy, but this is my first time being pregnant and it bothers me. Thanks for helping!
Update:My ultrasound was inconclusive because they can't tell how far along I am. My periods are irregular, so they can't go by my last period, and my doctor is a bit perplexed at how far along I am. The last ultrasound put me at 5 weeks, but my doctor isn't convinced it's right. I have another ultrasound on Friday to see if it's developing.

hcg levels double approx every 48 hours.. mine doubled every 36 hours.. the higher the number is, it stops doubling. as long as they are still rising your fine.
when was your last period? you should go off of that.

I have no clue about hCG levels.. All I know is when I was about a week pregnant my level was 19
Have him check your progesterone levels. See what they are doing, and he may have to do a comparitive...
