I keep getting this error message whenever I try to open up an embedded Excel spreadsheet in Microsoft Word 2007. I'm trying to edit a lab report. I have a template for my lab report that I download from my school's website so I can enter in my experimental data, and part of that entails doing calculations and creating graphs inside the embedded Excel table. The weird thing is, it seems I get this error message whenever I save my file to save my process as I'm typing in my experimental data. I downloaded an extra copy of one of my lab reports (the Excel table comes embedded with the lab report, I don't add it in myself) and I could open the embedded Excel table just fine, no errors or anything. But once I save the document and try to edit the table again, the error message appears.
Can anyone help me figure this out? I shouldn't have to do my lap report all at once without saving because sometimes Microsoft Word 07 will suddenly quit and I have to start all over.

Could be caused by any add-in you may have installed such as Google cloud connect, or due to binding issues caused by how the embedded document was created. You can try right clicking the embedded worksheet and select convert.
