i need help. Norton said it successfully removed two of these trojans. I checked quarantine and they're there but did this thing do more to my comp than i'm realizing?
If Norton has the files in the quarantine folder, then the computer was spared from the trojan.ZLOB...*
Keep them for a week or two, but, once you have verified that the quarantined files are not system files (keep an eye on where the malicious files are located- the path, if you will) and you're convinced everything is running well, you can select and delete the quarantined files from Norton.
(This eliminates the possibility of another protection program erroneously re-detectioning the quarantined files)
At this point-
Open a browser and go to the text menu,
go to Tools>Internet Options>Browsing history>delete button>
then delete your Temporary Internet Files and your Cookies.
You might follow up Norton's detection - quarantine operation with this antispyware; to make sure nothing lingers behind...always nice to be sure.
These are all free to use, remove malicious files, and Update and all 3 make a great addition to any pc protection plan.
Use them often.
Download and install these anti-spyware programs:
Immediately scan with #1-
Always click the button to UPDATE before starting the scan.
ok well scan with norton if it finds anything delete what ever it finds . next download avg anti-rootkit trust my you want to find out if theres a rootkit and delete it . next get spybot search and destroy and scan for spyware . and when your subscription for norton expires get avast free it better then norton hope this helps good luck . oh and if you can't get rid of it serach google on how to remove a trojan.zlob virus . theres probably online forums with the question and the anwser could be there

Keep these two around for future use, they work well when used one after the other.
