well make sure to find out before you do any thing cause sometimes guys send signals and dont realize it.... like me and my friends ex.. she thought i felt for her as more then a friend but i didnt. i was just being nice to her cause she was my friends girl and i thought she was fun to hang with. not my type though. anyway to find out just ask him whats going down straight out.

Don't confuse signals with a friend acting friendly towards you. If he makes a move let him know your not interested cuz he's dating your friend.

tell your friend that he is flirting with you and that if he breaks up with her to try and get you or something then ask her is it ok to date him or something if she says no don't go out if she says o.k then wait one day ask again if yes then date him for awile if you like him then cool but if not then tell him its not working and hell go back to her =] try it (and if he dont break up tell him that he should stop because if she found out it would hurt her fealings)
