So I like this guy and I have the feeling that he likes me? But how is a girl to tell? We are on the same "team" at work and he has told me that I am his favorite person on our team of 7. He has also told me I am his favorite person in our devision, and he was upset that we were not paired together for a recent project. Also today I discovered that a picture of me is the background on his cell phone. How am I to know if he likes me as more than a friend? Although he is a co-worker do I persue anything? I definately do NOT want things to be awkward on our team but at the same time I really like this guy! HELP
Update:also what if I do say something and he doesn't feel the same way? How do i respond or how do I play it off as a joke or something to make it less awkward?

He sounds like he likes u.....Tell him that you know someone in the group that likes him and ask if h would ever date a coworker if he says yea or maybe then tell him a buncha ppl form work are going out somewere and ask him if he wnats to if he says yes then tell him to go somewere and be there when he gets there.....Look at the reaction on his face when u tell him ur the only one thats showing up if he grins or soemthing persue the date but if he looks uncomfortable or frowns then jsut go home .its worht a try :) good luck!!
Do you need to be hit on your head or something. Even Stevie Wonder is blind and can tell this dude likes you. A guy doesn't compliment a women he doesn't care for and he wouldn't have your picture on his cell phone. Wake up and realize he has feelings for you too.
It does sound like he likes you, but you work with him. I wouldn't suggest dating someone you work with. Break-ups are imminent and could be awkward in the workplace not only for the two of you but for your coworkers. If your job is not that great you can find another one and continue your romance that way...
Tread lightly and find another guy or get prepared to find another job to be with him.
i think he likes you. but look for the usual signs, like if he looks at you alot and when you look back he turns away. or like when he is sitting somewhere and his torso is facing your direction, i read that in a magazine. and if he asks you questions about you, like as if he is curious about you. (this is weird, but true in most cases) or if he licks his lips every time her looks at you. and when he looks at you and he tilts his head to the side, trying to be more approachable. there are countless signs, but if you really need to know then ask a coworker preferably a man that he trusts that will ask him for you, if you are to shy to ask. this way he will be honest instead of a girl because then he will be suspisous and will lie about his true feelings. or if you are not shy, then just talk to him and ask him if he really likes you.
