you and i seem to be in the same boat. theres this girl i really like, and i have no idea what to do. i have thought about a lot of things, and right now, the thing that makes the most sense is just to tell her i like her. im just going to pull her aside one day, (hopefully soon), tell her that i cant keep it in me any longer, and i really like her. i figured not to ask her if she likes me, because thatll put her on the spot, not what i want to do. then ill just let her make a follow through, if she likes me or not.
Start to let her know you like her. Nothing grabs a girls attention more (particularly if shes into you too) than someone that likes her. Be happy, friendly, helpful, interested in what shes doing, or saying. Do something silly, like give her a dumb gift. The first clue I had that my husband was even remotely interested in me was when he came in from swimming in the roughest sea ever, totally exhausted, and handed me a little stone, and said 'you might not think it that special, but it sure was deep'. I loved it, and I still have it. Be fun!
I would advise observing her for a moment, unless it's someone that you've known for a while. Sometimes first impressions could not be the "true" person that you think you really like. Do little niceties for her...be sure to open/hold her door (a gentleman would do that anyway), compliment on things - be observant, etc.
Then if the moment is right, ask her out to get to know her better. Take it slow and try not to do something that you might regret (i.e. tattooing her name on your body; getting matching nose rings, etc.).
