There are certainly exercises that work particular body parts, but it is very difficult to acheive spot weight loss. Depending on genetics and other factors you may lose weight elsewhere first. Keep at it and the weight will come off. A regimine of both resistance and cardio has worked well for me. This acheives toning and sliming. Pilates or yoga really elongate the muscle. Walking/jogging combined with lunges/squats or band/weights is great. Drink lots of water and stick with it! Good luck!
