Dear Friend, you have not given from which place you want to travel to thirupathy and have Dharshan? If you are from Chennai, you can book a ticket yourself by going to Thirupathy Devasathanam office located in T Nagar, Venkatnaryana Road, for AAD Dharshan which is most convenient. Cost is Rs 200/- per person. they take your finger print, give you a receipt also with which you can have dharshan on 7 th Jan 2009. As you say it is vaikunta ekadhasi day, it may be all the tickets are sold out; as counter opens two months in advance. Try some tourist operators who advertise for Dharshan and travel in out side the Devasthanam office itself. The cost may be more, but you are assured of a dharshan. But you must rush now itself and reserve your dharshan and travel tickets with them.

since you are from chennai, you can book from tirupati devastanam trust located in T-Nagar, where they will take your finger print and will also provide you with accommodation if you want.

if in case the booking is full, then you can go directly to tirupati, and try for dharma darshanam, and you will get accommodation anywhere near by also. but dharma darshanam will take longer time.
