Hi,
It depends on what level of intensity you are doing. You get at least one rest day in, so that is good, but make sure you are eating healthily too.
Do you not find that just doing the cross-trainer and walking/running might become a little boring and get you down?
As this is the start of your exercise plan, don't be too hard on yourself though, it is easy to go over the top with enthusiasm at the start, but this can risk injury and then de motivation.
Just get back to me for more tips and advice if needed.
Hope this helps.

I do not truthfully recognize any of the ones 3! So... 'Long Train Running' ~ The Doobie Brothers 'Nightrain' ~ Guns N' Roses 'Win My Train Fare Home (If I Ever Get Lucky)' ~ Robert Plant 'This Train' ~ Sandy Denny NP : 'World in Harmony' {reside 1970} ~ Fleetwood Mac
Depends what your level of fitness is to whether you are training too much.
If your goal is to maintain a fitness level then you want to be training so you are ending up out of breath, but not gasping too much for air, and no pain the next day.
If you are trying to get fitter than you currently are then it is about overloading your body, you want to be very tired after each workout (however hard you have to work to do this, whether it be a 1 mile run, or half a marathon).
if you have to take time off of other fun things you do in everyday life--like spending time with family, then yes. Cuz its not like your training for the olympics or something that you can't take a break once in a while. This is only for fitness and health.
