this might sound a little weird, but my brother had a sheet of 600 sandpaper, and i was playing with it and i ran it over my leg by accident and THE HAIR CAME OFF!! OMG i was sooo happy because i am not allowed to shave because of my religion, i usually wax, and that hurts of course but i still do it, i also have very thick, dark, coarse hair, so when the hair came off i was really excited and i basically kept rubbing my leg with the sandpaper until all the hair came off, then i realized what i was doing and now im a little worried, it didnt hurt at all, but my leg and the paper started smelling weird, i put some water and lotion on my leg and the smell went away and now they are smooth, so should i continue using the sandpaper to get the hair off my legs? is it dangerous? how fast will the hair grow back? will it grow back stronger? is it better than waxing? please help im worried...
Update:I am Muslim :) so i cant use razors or anything with metal on it to remove hair, thats why i wax

It might seem good for know like some people are saying Like some people said it's similar to some products but they are not sandpaper. In the long run it will probably be no good for your legs and cause them to become red and sore especially of you do it often. Your not just removing the hair though your also removing layers of skin... that's not good. the smell was the friction burn from the sandpaper to skin. I would not recommend this. You could try using hair removal cream like Veet or something It smells like burning flesh when applied but it has a really good result. I hope this helps :) xxx
wow, sandpaper? not the most recommended way to remove hair Im sure. You can buy a product from supermarkets and chemists that is similar to sandpaper and you use it in the same way. It removes short hairs from your legs and is totally pain and smell free. You could get one of these for in between waxes. I wouldnt use sandpaper again although I doubt it has done any damage this once but it cant be good for your skin surely. You may start to notice hair in a couple of days but try and get one of those hair removal mitts and you can just rub it away. Dont worry too much, Im sure you will be fine and if not, try a cold damp towel for your leg and some tee tree or aloe vera or medicated ointment if your leg is very sore, dont use any coloured or strongly fragranced lotion. Actually, this sand paper is the same as that "smooth away" product they sell for 20 bucks on T.V. As long as you put lotion on, and make sure you aren't scratching yourself, there is no real health problems that can come from this. It's probably not as good for you as waxing, but a lot less painful ;)
why dont you use a lotion that will take off the hairs without a razor or waxing
Step away from the sandpaper and just buy yourself a razor or something
well if it doesnt hurt and it works you might as well right? anything is better than waxing, over time waxing ruins your skin.
im kind of curious as to what religion you are though lol
basically shave once you're out of the bathe.. moist your leg and use shaving cream. or you need to take a bath that ought to artwork.. i'm undecided.. you need to like, not placed your solid leg interior the tub? Hahaha i'm undecided
