13th Birthday????
My twin sister and i are having our 13th birthday and we have no idea what to do! we are only allowed to have girls and we are inviting about 40 of them. we are planning to have it in our backyard and have like a swim party but...... we did that last year and we want to add some flavor to it! what are some ideas???
Update:WE had a hawian theme last year and this year we were planning on having a gian inflatible. Everyone has really good ideas...but some of them our oarents just wont let us do! so we need a really cheap way to have an awesome party!
another question i have is my mom will only let us get one big present each and i cant decide if i want a Wii or a chi? so i just wanted to know what you think i should get!

How a Hawaiian Theme Pool Party??
For invitations:
Just think 'The Tropics'.
Use flower, palm tree or shell stickers. Bright colors too!
Just make sure you tell your guests to dress 'Island Style'.
Decorations:
Your decorations can be anything your imagination allows them to be.
You can visit your local Party Store for some ideas.
Make centerpieces using pineapples, mangos, papayas, coconuts and bananas.
Tableclothes of brightly colored patterns.
Float candles in bowls of colored water or in a pool.
And dont't forget the little bamboo umbrellas for your beverages.
Hawaiian Games:
Musical Beach towels (like musical chair) Use Hawaiian music.
Hula Hoop Contest
Pass the Coconut (Like Hot Potato Game)
Food:
VOLCANIC PUNCH
3 cans frozen fruit punch concentrate
1 64oz-can pineapple juice
1 can cream of coconut
2 2-Liters ginger ale
ice cubes
In a large punch bowl add the 3 cans of frozen fruit punch concentrate. Keep one of the empty frozen juice cans. Fill the can with water 6 times and add to punch bowl. Add pineapple juice, one bottle of ginger ale, and ice cubes then stir. Then add as much of the 2nd bottle of ginger ale as possible leaving at least 3 inches from the rim of the punch bowl and stir again. Pour in the can of cream of coconut on top. Will serve 40-70 people

everyone can bring their own money and you could all go out to a movie at the drive in (if you have one)...you can all split up into groups and play cards and stuff! and who ever are the winners of each group can play each other for a prize! its your party! do what ever you and your sister think is fun!

hi,i am turning 13 this year too. i am going to do a dance party,but u have to dress formal.for example all the girls have a really pretty dress on and all that. like a mini prom sort of but not exactly. i am sorry if this doesn't help but since 13 is when u become a teen i thought of something really different. idk if u could do that in your back yard though. just an idea.
You could do the whole pool party deal, but to mix it up make it a themed party, like have people dress up. Do whatever you like, Island style, anime, whatever your into. Happy Birthday btw-
Bring some music in, food, lights, decorations, pool stuff, tiki torches. No themes, they get old, pool parties never get old. I would suggest not to have a sleepover though if you have no way of entertaing them that long.
you can get a DJ and dance..also you guys should try to play more games and have a few prizes and give them to the winner. You can have dance contest or you can have your swim play and have a sleep over and tell story's and everything
see if you can get a band to play, even if it is just a decent neighborhood band. live music always spruces parties up!
