Hi There,
I have received a note from court in NJ saying i didn't appear in court for a traffic violation (Parking). I have never visited that county before.
I went to NJMCDirect.com web site to find some additional information based on the ticket number and find my car model is mentioned wrong. It looks like some issue with entering the information for the violation. I am planning to say not guilty and send my response back to the court. If any one can provide some suggestions or share their experiences, i would be very grateful

Update:The ticket was issued by West New york. They sent the ticket on Wednesday and I saw the ticket on Friday. They want me to pay the fine before 11/17 or plead not guilty before 11/10 which is Monday. They have given the phone number and timings of the court. If i call them and inform on Monday will that be enough ?

i guess they are known for this.. it happend to 3 of my moms friends, and they were on vacation in florida. if they parked their car in jersey.. thats a long walk lol.

You didn't mention where the ticket was issued. Here's information on disputing a ticket from Trenton:
To dispute a ticket you must notify the court administrator of your intention at least 7 days prior to your court date. If you fail to do so, it may be necessary to make two court appearances. The court telephone number is (609) 989-3700. Business hours are 8:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., Monday through Friday.
I'd suggest you visit the website of the city where the ticket was issued for info.
