if you have a RV... there has been passed laws thruout this state thats illegal to park your RV in any rest area for more than 2 hours! And NO truck stops allow ANY OVERNIGHT PARKING in the parking areas unless you are driving a long haul truck/trailer! Was in rest area at 172 exit Dickson Tn last night and a state trooper gave a illegal parking ticket to a eldery couple from New Mexico who stopped to walk their 2 poodles and was there for only a hour! Another was given a illegal parking ticket at the pilot truck stop at the 172 exit WHILE IN A RV SPACE in front of travel store! Was told by local police new laws in effect as of 2010 that its illegal for ANY RV older than a 2001 model to be parked anywhere IN STATE! I dont know bout others.. But dont these laws seem a bit "odd"? Or is it just another ploy to scam money from through traffic people? Older man was realy pissed because he was traveling to see his family in different states and got 2 tickets for illegal parking in 200 miles there!
