virus trouble - HELP!!?
A few days ago, I became the stupid idiot to click on a link obviously containing a virus. it's called (in the task manager) Andy144.exe*32. I can't get rid of it without opening task manager and deleting it manually, but heres the bigger issue - windows defender won't turn on. i try to turn it on, but it keeps saying that this program is blocked by group policy (error code 0x800704ec). This is becoming a giant pain in the *** as now for a short time google chrome plus quit working. I've installed malawarebytes, TDSSkiller, etc but nothing's working! i'm also using windows 7, and if anyone can help, i'd greatly appreciate it!

the virus is called 'security check' it is a newer virus it will attach itself threw any link message or any crap like that it will ask to do a free virus scan and u have to pay 80 bucks for it and it will immeadiatly delete itself. this extremly dangerous it can fry your pc in 2 seconds heres what you do unless you dont want to pay 80 bucks, you quickly hit the restart button and you have just about a nanosecond to press crlt alt delete 8 times really fast it will open task manager and end anything with numbers in it. Those error codes are all crap from the virus. now this is the hard part and i am not joking here you have to delete any newer installed programs like skype or msn or stuff like that but heres the catch as soon as you delete one you have 2 mins exactly to click uninstall i am not joking otherwise the virus will kill your pc or mac.ok so do it quickly dont wait around this is dangerous and you might be looking in pc stores for a new computer or mac.
Turn your computer on and press F8 at the startup screen. Then choose Safe-Mode. You should be able to run anitvirus from there.
Install anti virus ASAP
Click on start and in the search bar type in: Andy144.exe*32
don't press enter when you are searching just enter it. When it comes up right-click and delete it.
