I don't quite understand when to use what term, would a trans-man be MtF or FtM?
Does a trans-woman identify as a woman? Or were the assigned female at birth and identify as a man?
Or is it their current sex (like based on genitalia)?

trans man = ftm (female to male)
trans woman mtf (male to female)
Hi, i'm an ftm: i feel to be a ma, i'm a Man but often like now I've to identify myself like trans-man or ftm or people can't understand me.
the only difference between me and Biologic man is genital.. If I don't say ftm people think I'm going to make mtf transition!!
mtf are woman who born with male body the opposite of ftm

The term trans is not use in everyday life, it is female or male pronouns depending on presentation.
MtF or FtM or trans is only used when there is some "need" to call out that status.
