Starting the school I was doing very good. Did all my work handed everything in on time. Now as the school year is ending I' am failing I just feel like a failure, the work I do isn't good enough I'm late on all projects. I'm thinking about skipping the exams and just flat out dropping out entirely. I really don't want to let my mom down. I wanted to. Be a chemist I just don't have the grades. That's my dream job. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions.

Go talk to your school counselor and possibly to your teachers. Concentrate on saving what you can of credits. Ask about credit recovery, summer school, etc.
Look at what is really going on with you, what the real problem is, and what solutions are. I promise you that there are better things to do than to be a quitter! Talk to that counselor. If that one doesn't help. find another one.
Talk to your counselor about careers. You might really like going to a tech school and becoming a lab tech -- medical or law enforcement-- etc. There are many careers out there. At least one will fit you!
Also, most people have several careers in life. Indeed, you may become a chemist someday. many people start out in one career and work their way up.
The most important thing is that you don't tackle this alone. Its all very well posting questions on here and getting opinions from random people like us but maybe ask the people who count? speak sincerely to your mum, she wants you to do well as she cares and loves you. Try to speak to her if possible, if not then speak to teachers. they have a duty of care to help every student so i am sure there are some extra tuition they could put into place to help you get through your exams. Most of all, think and be positive. you will be fine and if you stay strong you will do well. good luck
