around april/march i got a pet rabbit when i originally got him he was pretty much all black, a few weeks later his fur turned a gray color and now his face is turning black again, i'm feeding him pellets and occasionally other vegetables, is there something i'm missing in his diet or is this just a seasonal change

Your rabbits just fine its kinda how it would be for them in the wild becuz when i got my rabbit in the winter time and he was all white not any color on him any where but now sents the weather has changes hes gray and sliver on his back, black on his head and ears, and white on his main (his a lion head) so its normal its kinda like you said a seaonal change. Oh and it has nothing to do with his diet if it did have something to do with his diet his fur wouldnt chang colors with would look ruff and gross and kinda like a mangy cat but im sure your rabbits coat is soft and fuffy if not then somethings wrong and you should then change his diet. But it sounds ok to me.
don't worry, your bunny is fine. I would say that he is just molting or is getting sun burned. if he is in the sun, move him where he won't get into the direct sunlight. do you know what breed he is? some breeds change when they get older. if he is a smoke pearl then this would be PERFECTLY normal, a grey body and black face/feat/tail is considered a smoke pearl rabbit. a variety recognized by arba. bunnies only need pellets, clean water and a vegetable once in a while. I like to give my rabbits blackberry vines from my pasture. make sure treats have NOT been sprayed with anything. good luck! ps, look on google and type in smoke pearl rabbit, if it looks like your rabbit then I guess you'll know! -Julia
Don't worry about, he's probally doing fine. I have a ton of rabbits, in fact a new litter(or what ever you call it!) was born, and one of the bunnies is brown and grey, and his belly turns from white to grey. Good Luck!
my bunnny dint ever do that and i had her for a long time i dont think its a seasonal change how old is your bunny? is it becuse of old age? i think u should look it up with your bunny's vet. mayb its sheddin is their some loose hair around? check for that too.
