I take my puppy outside every hour or two but last time I did she acted like she didn't need to go so I brought her back in and within a couple minutes she peed on the floor. What do you think I could do differently? Should I have waited a little longer?
I would use crate training. Dog leaves the crate goes outside and pees then can come inside and play awhile. Dog does not pee outside, stay awhile longer and go for a bit of a walk. Dog still does not pee, dog goes back into the crate.
