Ok, we have a 13 week old puppy, and we have had him a little over two weeks now. He isn't seeming to catch onto potty training at all.
He goes on the bed, the couch, anywhere on the floor, just anywhere!
He is kennel trained, sleeps in there, and doesn't potty in there.
He does now, that when we go outside, he needs to go potty, cuz as soon as I bring him out, he runs to the grass and goes, but will still go in the house...
What should I do to train him better??
I thought about tieing a bell the the door knob, and trying to teach him to hit that to go potty... Any tips on that?
Lastly, I heard to clean the potty up with white vineger, Does it really work, and am I supposed to dilute it with water first, would it hurt my other dog or cats??

He shouldn't be having the chance to relieve himself indoors because you should be watching him like a hawk. Prevention is the best method.
Tether him to you with his leash so that he can't wander out of your sight. Watch for signs that he has to go like sniffing around for a spot. If you think he has to go, rush him outside.
If you catch him starting to go, make a very loud, sudden, sharp noise to distract him. He should stop mid-stream, and that's when you swoop in to rush him indoors.
Do not try to punish him. The point is to get him outside to pee, not to stop to holler at him.
You must make the effort worth it in his eyes. When he relieves himself outside, you have to throw a party! Give him treat after treat (at least ten or fifteen small, super-delicious treats) and shower him with praise and affection. If he wants to play, then play. Give him a good reason to make the effort of going outdoors.
If you didn't catch him in time, too bad. It's impossible to punish the dog after the deed is done because dogs live in the moment. If you're later than literally two seconds, then the dog has already moved on. It won't be able to associate any punishment with the act of eliminating indoors.
Clean up any accidents with an enzyme cleaner. White vinegar is safe and reasonably effective to neutralize the ammonia in the urine. Enzyme cleaners work a little better to completely break down the urine.
Dogs like to pee in the same spot because they can still smell their pee there, so it's important that you remove the odor 100%. (That's why it's a bad idea to use bleach to clean up puddles of urine, as bleach also contains ammonia.)
You could certainly teach him to tell you when he needs to go out, although that will take quite awhile for him to catch on.
Don't tie the bell on the door knob, though, or it'll always be ringing. Secure it near the door so that he can reach it and ring it with his nose or paw.
Make sure that when you take him out after he rings the bell, you ONLY take him out to potty, so make sure he's leashed. He should learn to ring the bell only if he needs to do his business. If he gets to run around or play during these business trips, he'll be ringing the bell every five minutes just to go outside and play.

It sounds like you are on the right track by kennel training. Try staying outside a little longer. I know my dog doesn't leave it all in one place. Try going for a walk. I am always surprised by how many times she can go! Take him out every hour or two (puppy bladders can refill quickly). Praise him heavily when he pees outside. Your neighbors may think you are nuts when you are clapping and cheering but it helps. Also give him a small treat when he pees. All of these helped with my dog. We are at about 95% accuracy. There was a time when I thought that wasn't possible!!
one step at a time; don't even think about teaching him to associate the bell with needing to go to the toilet until he actually realizes he shouldn't be doing it in the house.
Puppies will mostly need to go after they've eaten or drank, and after they wake up. So every time he does these, take him outside until he does his business. When and while he does, praise him for it and make a big fuss about it.
You'll need to keep a near constant eye on him so you can catch him in the house if he makes a mistake and goes there. Scold him a little, and carry him straight outside.
Eventually he'll put two and two together and realize outside is where he needs to go. Might take a while though. Good luck :)
does he free feed if so remove his food. some dogs usually go 10 -20min after eating. if he goes and you don't catch him in the act no sense of scolding him( hes thought process is a little different from us).so in those 10-20 mins take him outside and don't pay attention to him let him do his business after hes done praise him and take him in...hope it helps

he is probably too young to be traind on the bell, and depending on his breed he might not be smart enough
