My dog knows how to go outside and we also have a litter box, but sometimes she still messes up. Many people tell me don't use a litter box, but the problem is that I am gone during the day and I don't have anybody to let her out during that time. What should I do? She gets walked right before I leave and right when I come home, the time she is alone is about 9 hours. She is also crate trained. Can I keep on working with the litter box, or would she be better off just having nothing and waiting until I get home? and if the litter box is fine, how do I keep her from making accidents elsewhere?

I agree. Puppy training pads would be good. But, it's not very healthy for a dog to be alone for 9 hours everyday. Consider looking for someone to be payed to keep her during the day or to check up on her every few hours. She may be doing this out of boredom, too.
Puppy training pads,is she a cat?!
