I can totally see why your parents are against him, and I think you should forget about him too. Cheaters are scum. If he's cheating on her, why wouldn't he cheat on you too?

I think that you should respect yourself by not hanging out with him if he has a girlfriend. Do you really want to be someone's second choice. You are better than that. Some people you are attracted to may be already taken. You have to accept that & respect yourself. Jenni is also right, if he does it to her, you would worry that he'll do it to you also. It felt weird b/c you knew it was wrong. Just hang out with your friends. It all works out in the end. You may meet someone you like even more while hanging with your friends this summer!
