a) A 51.7 N object is in free fall. What is the magnitude of the net force which acts on the object?
Answer in units of N.
b) What is the magnitude of the net force when the object encounters 20.5 N of air resistance?
Answer in units of N.
c) What is the magnitude of the net force when it falls fast enough to encounter an air resistance of 51.7 N?
Answer in units of N.
Thank you very much. I've worked out the problems but I need to make sure that my answers are correct.

a) 506.66N
a) 51.7N is already a force. Which must have been found from f=ma where a=gravity. So when its in free fall the total force is only the force from gravity, 51.7N
b) 51.7-20.5N
c) This situation is impossible, an object cannot be "falling" (no matter what speed) and encounter enough air resistance to cancel gravity. In that case the net force would be 0, and the object would be floating in mid air. This is only possible in a wind tunnel where the force due to air is artificially generated.
