Hi I got water tested she said that the PH level was quite high but for the fish I have it is safe and a water change will lower it. Is there any other ways to lower PH level.
You need to check th ph of your tap water if it is high then you will not be able to reduce it with w.c's it's unusual for the water in a tanks ph to rise as fish produce acids that reduce the ph, if you want to reduce the ph you have to first reduce the kh or it will just bounce back up after adding aforementioned acid based ph reducers which is stressfull to fish. To reduce kh you can put peat in your filter or bogwood in your tank, both discolour the water. Or you can add ro water hope thios helps.; Having said that most fish can tolerate highish ph as long as it's stable., you never said what the ph level is
Yes, if you go to a petstore they actually have pH stabilizing products. Look in the medical aisle in the fish section of the store and you will see ich medicine, ammonia-b-gone, etc. They are usually in big bottles but you can buy it in little doses. I think the product is called pH(out pH number here to stabilize)

Yes you can buy the pH reducer products but it is not healthy for the fish cause of the chemicals best way is to do a 20% water change to the tank
