About a week after I had my baby, my doctor put me on ORTHO TRI-CYCLEN LO. I am about to finished a pack of pills but have not gotten my period. I am going to be starting a new pack in a couple of days. Is the pill still effective eventhough I havent received my period? Or should I wait until I get my period and start all over with the pills?

Go ahead and restart with your new pack, just as if you had your period! I would go ahead and let your doctor know that you didn't start though. She may want to adjust your meds! But no starting them at the right time will mess your cycle up even further!
If I'm not mistaken my sister went two months worth of BC before she started her period again after having her baby!
I used ortho tri cyclen lo for a pair of years. i did no longer have any unfavorable part effects different than fatigue. It saved my classes shorter, in basic terms 3-4 days long, and became good. like various oral contraceptive, be useful to take the pill around the comparable time every day, as this might improve its effectiveness. I in basic terms used the pill, yet i became additionally in a dedicated monogomous relationships. Please comprehend that while you're in basic terms going to apply an oral contraceptive, that it does not look after you against STDs, and definitely adjustments the acidity and hormones of the vagina to make women human beings extra in probability for STDs. i've got on no account had a topic or scare however, and it is been between the perfect beginning administration pills i've got taken.
