Affair symbolism through photography?
I am doing a project for school. I have to create a story through photographs. I am thinking about doing it about a woman who is having an affair. The pictures must be metaphors or symbolic and can't be obvious about what the topic is. Each piece together is suppose to represent the entire idea.. I am having a lot of trouble with all of this.. Any ideas? Or should I change my topic to something simpler? HELP!

This will be quite a challenge if you won't have models.
But here are a few thoughts:
Wedding band peeking out of a pocket where it may be presumed to have been hidden
Open window with a man's shoe on the floor where it might have been left in a hasty exit
Woman's purse, open, with a motel bill peeking out
Change of clothes: frumpy dress tossed on a bed, negligee hung nearby
