I doubt you pregnant if you have been taking the pills like you are supposed to...I am on ortho tricylen lo as well and I get random bursts of nausea as well, all throughout my pill pack, especailly in the beginning. Some months it does it, some times it doesnt. All I know, is that its pretty darn effective against unwanted pregnancy, and thats why I keep taking it. During my first couple days of a new pack, I have a lot of nausea and just overall feel like crap, then I feel normal and then have random days where I'll get nausea. I think its your birth control. I've been on it 6 months and I get the same problems you do. Ask your gyno to switch the pill for you. Goood luck :)
I used to take Orthotricyclen, but I ended up switching to the OrthoEvra patch for that very reason - it made me really nauseous. But when I was on Orthotricyclen, it made me nauseous all the time, not just at random intervals. Because your symptoms are pretty intense (not just the low-key daily nausea that is normal with birth control pills) you should make an appointment with your doctor tomorrow morning if the pain/nausea hasn't gone away. The sharp pains could be indicative of something serious. Good luck!
Call your doctor or a 24 hour triage line that can help you. It does seem a little strange that you would start having side effects now after taking it for 4 months, but I'm not a professional.
If you read the instructions for the pills, you'll see that it says that those are some of the side effects, and not to discontinue the pills unless told to do so by a doctor, or the pain gets to be unbearable.
