I recieved a traffic ticket with a time and date on it to show up at the courthouse. Do I need to have my ticket on me when I go if I know the time and place because I seem to have misplaced it and I'm really nervous.

just show up when your suppose to, theyll have your file waiting, give them your name..........
If you remember when and where the court date is, you can show up without your copy. The court will have there copy. If you are not sure about the court date, contact the court. They should be able to find the information you need. Depending on how recently the ticket was issued, the ticket may not have made its way though the system yet.
You can go online with the Department of Motor Vehicles in your State, and you should be able to download a printed version of your ticket with the necessary information.
Your other alternative would be to go to the court where the ticket was issued and ask for a duplicate copy.
