I have a 10 week old Dalmatian puppy and I was wanting to start leash training him, what is the best way to go about this? I have leashed trained German Shepherds in the past, they never tried to fight it they just went along with what ever you were doing. I have a slight feeling that my Dal puppy ain't going to be the same, and I was wondering how should I do this so that it don't leave a bad impression on him, and to where he don't mind going for walks. I have seen people that do this and its a fight to get the leash on their dogs and when they do the dogs want to either walk between your legs, they are pulling them behind them or the dogs just wont budge. I don't want any of this to be the case with me and my puppy. Any suggestion Will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
Update:I havnt started leash training him yet I was just wondering what is the best way to go about doing it.....(I didnt know if I put that in there) Sorry if I did Im ready for bed and didnt read over it

Put the leash on your puppy and let him drag it around the house awhile. Then pick it up and hold the leash and let him roam around while you follow. Then slowly but surely you walk him instead of him walking you.
i saw on the dog whispers, ceasar told a lady to be calm and walk her dog on a short leash right next to her or right behind her. that will train him that you are the alpha.
i did it with my pit bull when i saw that and my dog doesnt walk me anymore. we actually walk together now!
