I tried to tighten the bolt but it was already freakin tight. And the bolt is connected to thing that looks like a pan. I bet someone tightned it too tight.
The pan gasket has probably been compromised then from overtightening. Loosening it now will only make it worse. Get another gasket and replace it or take it to the shop and have it done. The bolts should be "snug", but not to where you need to use an air wrench to get them off. The gasket has to have some sponginess left when everything is in place so it seals properly.
if you tighten the bolts too much then it will make the pan leak.ok take off the pan and take a hammer and flaten out the bolt holes and put some good silicone sealer (heat resistant)on the pan so if the pan is warped the sealer will fill in the low places, but dont over tighten them...good luck.
your pan bolts or bolt may be stripped, and depends on which bolt you are talking about,if it is the pan bolt or bolts you need to remove the pan ,regasket and install bolts, striped threds need to be tapped and fitted with new bolts to assure proper pan to trans seal.do not over tighten, see tightening specs in vehicle repair manual (chilton or haynes) good luck

The gasket from the oil pan to the block is probally gone and by tighting it even more would break the gasket even more...hope that helps.
No not the problem.
There is more than 1 bolt.
Plus wipe it clean and trace where the leak is coming from. Make sure you are not too full.
