I was recently required to drive 184 miles round trip to my employers headquarters for a meeting. Am i eligible for travel time reimbursement, should I be paid for the time it took to get there and should I be paid for the time I was in the meeting. I work a 7 day rotation. work 7 days, off 7 days and I was required to drive up on my day off. I'm just wondering what the laws were...I've tried finding out but it's a little wishy-washy.
