I don't believe that it is because if you travel to the past then you have automatically changed the passed which isn't possible, and the future hasn't happened yet.
No, time is not space, so we can't travel in it. Only science fiction has time travel. Time is just a process of change that runs at a constant rate in ordinary situations. It can be slowed by very high speeds, but we can't ever move fast enough to slow it noticeably.
I have no doubt that travel to the past will one day be possible. However, we don't currently have the technology or knowledge to implement it. It has been theorized that one could create a worm hole with a massive particle accellerator, then string it through the event horizon of a black hole and it would create a loop through which one could travel back in time to the point in which the wormhole was stabalized. Of course, this requires such massive resources, as well as traveling to a blackhole and back, so its not really practical. But who knows, 100 years down the road, it might be an easy task.
anyone who says it will never happen, or that it would violate all the laws of physics, is fooling themselves. We really don't know enough to know if its impossible. People will say its impossible, then someone is going to come along in a few years and demonstrate that its completely possible. Thats how science works.
As far as paradox, not sure how that will play in. We can only guess. But I bet it wont be as big a problem as it appears.
In theory we could slow down time by travelling very fast, close to the speed of light. But that is only in theory because we don't have any rockets or anything that goes that fast.
Also in theory we could go to a different tine by going into a spinning black hole.
A black hole is formed when a very big star burns out.
This is also theory because who wants to try going into a black hole.
Einstein proved that time is not necessarily constant and someday we may find a practical way to do it.
Maybe 100 generations down the line. My theory is that the past becomes shrunken and/or enfolded into the universe somehow, then someday we'll be able to "inflate" it. There will be no problem with paradoxes if you believe in the multiple universe theory, like I do. Everything that can happen happened, and will happen.
No physics law denies time travel, actually in cern some particle when collided went into 5th dimension they are said that they can travel past and future as time is 4th dimension, anyways sadly the particle only can travel past or future not human i think they are making ideas to how to make a human time travel ut what happens if someone kill your grandpa in past and you cant travel right but there are infinite timelines when you travel in line you travel into some other time line where there are not your parents and its different.

Count to 10.
You have moved into the future.
Now think about the 10 seconds that were wasted.
You have gone to the past, returned, only to find you didn't change the future.

For now we have no practical ways to time travel.
