It is (in theory) possible to speed up the time/travel to the future if you travel faster than the speed of light. Einstein figured this out. It would be next to impossible though. But some scientists think it can be achieved by being just outside of a black hole. As for traveling in the past, i watched a documentary where some scientists were making a time machine, by creating a spiral with very powerful lasers (don't remember how it works though). With it you can recive messages from the future but you cannot however use it to recive messages from the time before the machine was turned on.
Maybe...
Unfortunately the speed of light is impossible to achieve because in space the higher the velocity the more dense the object becomes.
So, your ship would start its journey with its normal density. However, as you accelerate it gets increasing dense and would require more and more thrust to maintain acceleration towards the speed of light. So you get to the point where the density outweighs the capability of thrust.
Speculation has been made that you would have to generate a force field around the ship that reduces the amount of density gained while not impairing acceleration. That whole concept is based around a form of matter that does not currently exist to the best of our knowledge.
And if it were possible, you would only be able to travel forward.
But even if it were possible to travel back and forth in time, the things that you did in the past would only effect your perception of time. you would not be able to change of the future for anyone but yourself and those who travel with you.
Yes and No, Time is a measurement of the combined change in matter and energy but it is not an individual factor in itself. Time measures the change as molecular clusters come apart or come together to form new clusters (what we perceive as plants, animals, rocks, water), the change in position of the molecules in these clusters. Consider a frozen chicken or better the idea of "suspended animation", the goal is to slow the decay of the subject and basically "stopping" time for those objects by slowing molecular motion within them. This would be as close to manipulating time as you could get. The main problem with the idea of time travel is that the idea is that you would only alter yourself. This is wrong, if you wanted to move a thousand years into the past, you would need to know the exact position of every molecule one thousand years ago and move them all back to that position with the exception of the molecules that make up your own form, so you would have to alter every molecule except your own. So is it possible? On a universal scale? In theory yes , but it would require the same amount of energy expended between the two points in time, perhaps on a small scale a planet or solar system, but it would still be extremely unpractical. Could you alter time for an individual? Yes we do it daily.
Real time travel will never be possible to humans. An if it were you can only go to the past an back to present you came from as its occuring.future time travel is impossible. Moving fast or slow doesnt matter your still in the same illusion of time space.
Well, technically it is possible to travel to the future by accelerating to near light speed. This causes a relativistic 'time dilation' effect that makes the time flow slower to you than it does to the outside world.
You wouldn't be able to meet yourself though.
Traveling to the past is technically impossible.
And on a side note: I can't believe the amount of total nutjobs here. I hope the earlier answerer's weren't serious...
Well, your question is a little complicated. Not to mention the lack of punctuation makes it even more complicated.
Are you asking this:
Let's say you wanted to go to the future and meet your future self? Would it be possible to meet your future self since you left the present to go to the future?
This is what I construed from your question. My answer is:
Yes you could. We are only existing in one moment, one instant. This one instant is the future. But we have existed previously, in the past. And we will exist, in the future. If we were able to travel from the present into the future, it would be the present for our future selfs. So yes, they would be there and we could meet them. Of course, time traveling isn't possible so this is a just a theory.
If this wasn't what you were asking, you may want to edit your question a bit.
Time travel is possible if we gain the speed equal to the speed of light. But we can't travel the time because we have not the sources of energy or fuel to start up the engine of time machine.
Although,EINSTEIN'S THEORY OF RELATIVELY shows that we can travel time.
TIME TRAVEL IS POSSIBLE ONLY IF WE GAIN THE SOURCE OF ENERGY THROUGH WHICH WE CAN GAIN THE SPEED 99.9% EQUAL TO SPEED OF LIGHT.

You could probably travel into the future, but not the past, which means, once you've travelled into the future, you could never return to the time you left.
ITS ONLY POSSIBLE IF U MAKE A MACHINE WHICH CAN CONTROL HUMAN MIND AS IN TIME YOU HAVE TO ACCELERATE TO NEAR LIGHT SPEED BUT SPEED OF MIND CAN BEAT LIGHT SPEED IM CURRENTLY MAKING A THEORY THAT PERSON WHO IS COMMA IS ACTUALLY TRAVELLING IN TIME AND WHEN HE FINISH HIS TIME HE DIES AS MANY YOU HAVE SEEN DREAMS IN NIGHT WHICH CAME TRUE AFTER SOME TIME AND U THOUGHT THAT I HAVE SEEN IT SOMEWHERE HAPPENING SO BASICALLY YOU HAVE TIME TRAVELLED AS I SAY MIND CAN BEAT SPEED OF LIGHT
