well ive recently had a pending traffic ticket and now im worried. well this is the story me and my friends went to some party and we took two cars one was my brothers and the other was my friends. it was around 9pm when we got there.

and Around 12am my friends girl friend had to be home at that time so we decided to take her home. my friend had drank so he told me if i could drive so i did. it was around 1am when i stoped on the street where my friends girlfriends house was at.when a police car flashes his lights on my face from his car.

my brothers car was the only car behind me. so i start driving slowly and make a turn hoping they wont follow me. when i see their lights flashing thats when i notice i was getting stopped but why?

and they ended up giving me a impeding traffic ticket. but i had told the officer that the car in behind me was my brothers car and he said that i have to fight it at court then.

my brother agreed on fighting my ticket. but what are my chances of winning? will my car insurance go high because of that?

help me please.
