If we travel time, we can only do it by bending the space time continuum. For example, say i traveled time now in year August, 22 2011 3am and went to the year 0624 through a device came back after spending 23 years for the whole exercise. Then I lived 23 years of my life there in year 0624 to year 0647 and when i come back in my current place of existence then i wont have missed anything. I would still be in same date August, 22 2011 and time 3am. It would feel I didnt even go anywhere. This is only achievable when the body exists in Zeroth Dimension. From axis point of view to be at Origin.

Only in zeroth dimension it is possible to see everything. The big bang, the expansion of universe, the makking of earth, Rise and fall of ....etc. etc.
