Hey Brian, jobs are scarse in south africa.
You admin skills might help in a personnel agency firm.
Or normal office jobs, even with charity organisations to start getting experience on your CV.

There are many different avenues of IT to get into. When I chose to change career paths and move into IT I went for computer support (technician) because as long as there are computers they will have problems. A universally recognised course such as A+ Hardware & Software or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a couple of good ones to start if this area interests you. As someone mentioned before don't be afraid to look for some work experience. IT is one industry where a foot in the door is everything. I started with four weeks of work experience and now earn about $50,000 as a desktop support technician across three hospitals and I love it :)
This is not a software question. Please ask your questions in the careers catagory. Thank you.
