I think my laptops broken?
It is stuck on a dark blue screen with a little white blinking line in the top left hand corner. I have windows vista. This all started after I did a disk scan, but it wasnt working right before hand.
I CANNOT press F8.
All I can do is CTRL+ALT+DELETE to restart and it keeps restarting to the same dark blue screen I have described.
Is there a way to get into to recovery mode with F2 or F12 because that all I have access to. Whenever I hit F8 it beeps at me, like every key on the keyboard beeps at me after I hit F8.
Im freaking out! I really need my computer soon O_O

Download a Linux ISO from www.ubuntu.com and burn a Live CD. Boot from this. If there is no hardware problem, your laptop will work smoothly. Then your windows installation is corrupted. You may also try to download the Trinity Rescue Kit from www.trinityhome.org and burn a live CD. boot from this and clean your computer of virus.
Try inserting the recovery disc. If nothing happens than it may be hardware related and you will need to take it to an offline techie that knows what he/she is doing.
you need to get a code relevant blue screen. the code explains what causes to crash the computer. it is helpful for you and then you can solve it
