I think my Laptop crashed?
I have an HP laptop and I have no clue what happened to it. When I power it on, it just has a black screen with a blinking underscore at the top like for you to type something. I can't click or type anything. It just stays on that black screen. Anyone heard of this or know what to do?

Remove any CDs, DVDs, or memory cards from the computer.
Disconnect all devices from the computer except the original mouse, monitor, and keyboard. Leave the power cord connected.
Restart the computer.
If it starts normally, start plugging devices in one at a time until you find one that may be causing the black screen
If this doesn't resolve it, follow the procedure below.
Press the F10 key repeatedly during the first startup screen until the Entering setup message displays.
Press the F5 key to restore the defaults. Use the arrow keys to select YES , and press Enter .
Press the F10 key to save the changes and exit. Use the arrow keys to select YES , and press Enter .
The computer restarts.
If a Windows Error Recovery screen displays when the system restarts, select Start Windows Normally , and press Enter .
It seems like your systems is messed up something must of happened with the load up process take it to go get looked at or look at getting a new computer maybe its time.
