So, my boyfriend and I are in a long distance relationship, and we have gone far enough into the relationship to have 'cam sex' and tonight we took it a step further. I put a brush in me...And after I looked at the brush and it was bloody. I'm not bleeding anymore, but I think I broke my hymen, and that idea really scares me. Am I no longer a technical 'virgin'? I know that most people believe that virginity can be taken only by penis to vagina intercourse, and that the hymen is a very delicate tissue that can easily be torn, but I still worry. The brush isn't even that big, which is another concern. It's about the length of my middle finger, which hasn't ever made me bleed. So, did I break my hymen, or is it possible that I cut myself via brush? Please help!

You did not lose your virginity to a brush. You most likely just tore your hymen a little. Your virginity is taken by a penis.

You'd have to check yourself to see if your hymen is still there. Use a mirror, and maybe look it up online if you don't know where it is.
