my advice is forget about what people say about you, your opinion is what matters. I think that the only ugly people in this world are the ones who are ugly inside and make themselves look ugly. If a dozen people say you are pretty you let one nay-sayer make you wonder? Come on! How is it that everyone knows you? That you are a sweetheart or a drama queen? That you are nice or mean? That could explain things - there is beauty inside and outside. You do not need to look prettier, but you should try to be more confident while being sure you are not being mean or tempermental or vain around others. Stop wondering how you look, you look fine, I'm sure of it. Just try to be nice and try to be friendly and see what happens then - don't fake it, feel it.

Some guys do it because they trying to impress someone else or they like you and getting your attention is to tease you. Som guys know what they are doing and they do it just to do it. Now to get the guy yes dressing better may help not slutty but clothes that complements to your shape not to tight. Makeup helps but make it to enhance what you have don't put crazy colors on just to go to school that's for clubs, Confidence is sexy so just act like you do when you are around him yes it is like lying but in time that lie will help you more than anything.

Wait for someone to like you, if you try to bend over backwards for others, than you will eventually not be happy with yourself, you need to do whats makes you feel good and happy, allot of immature guys will call a girl or woman ugly just because she doesn't look like a street hooker.
