I am traveling from Washington DC to Trenton NJ for Thanksgiving, and unfortunately I will not be able to leave town until about 4:30 PM on Wednesday. About how long will it take me to make this trip if I stay on I-95 the entire way? I know it will be congested, but I do not see many other options.

if you are inside the beltway expect to wait about 30-50 minutes just to get to I-95. you'll hit traffic in baltimore, delaware and philly. it will probably take 4 hours. just drive slow and stay calm...people get a little crazy.
Traffic will be *horrible* if you're leaving at that time. The trip is about 175 miles, depending on your location in DC. Consider the link below as an alternate route. From the beltway, take 50-E across the bridge to 301, then follow that north until you intersect with Route 1. Around Wilmington you take 40, then join 295 further North. You'll definitely be driving at a slower speed using this route, and will run into more traffic lights. On the plus side you'll at least be moving.
