I am homeschooled and in 8th grade and doing Algebra 1. Can I get a high school credit from k12 so I can take geometry in 9th grade when I go to private school?
You don't need high school credit to take Geometry or Algebra 2 when you go to school. Some states like FL do give you high school credit for Algebra 1 taken in 8th grades. Other states like TN (where we are) does not allow high school credit for any algebra done in 8th grade, but you don't have to re-take it in high school. You just carry on and do Geometry, ALgebra 2, Pre-Calc etc.
You should ask your hs counselor. We don't know what they will or will not accept. You might be able to take a class at your local Jr. college that would count for hs credit.
