Can anyone recommend a website or anything where I can find females (like myself) who play video games?
I'm staying away from the term gamer girl because... Well, I don't like it.
It would just be nice to have my own friends to play with other than my boyfriend's friends. I'd like to play with another lady. Dudes are cool, but it would also be cool to have a Sam to my Anya. (Cheesy, I know.)
Update:Tank Girl: I'm pretty caught up in Gears of War 3 right now. Haven't gotten my hands on BFBC3 yet, but 2 will do. I also play WAW and Black Ops. GTA IV... Playing with guys is fine, I'd just like some girlfriends too.
Siisy V: I didn't say it was an issue, I said I don't care for the term "gamer girl." Nor did I say I had any problems playing with the guys. I simply said I'd like to play with a female. (And I currently do not have any girlfriends into videogames in real life or online). Thanks for... Your thoughts.

How so that being female gamer is issue? It might have been a little problem more than 5 years back when some mentioned that but now gender means nothing even when you play first person shooters.
